The NSW Government has appointed Laing O’Rourke to coordinate the clean-up of fire-damaged residential and commercial properties. This includes both insured and uninsured properties and also includes the clean-up of potentially hazardous materials like asbestos. Dangerous trees that are near homes, commercial buildings and driveways will also be included in the clean-up.
The bushfire recovery clean-up program is free and voluntary.

Once you’ve registered:
Laing O’Rourke staff will contact you to discuss the damage and assess your eligibility.
Once the area is declared safe, they will meet with you on-site.
You approve the scope of works.
The clean-up of the property will commence.
You confirm the completion of the agreed scope of works.
