NSW TrainLink trial coach services from Goulburn to Sydney and Canberra will be extended from June until September, with locals urged to take advantage of the connections.
Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman said the NSW Government was committed to delivering better connectivity to the regions.
“This service is a real win for locals as we provide better connections for our community with reliable links to the major hubs of Canberra and Sydney,” Ms Tuckerman said
“I encourage everyone to continue to support the trial and get on board to help make these coaches a permanent fixture in the timetable in addition to the range of train services available in the area.”
The Goulburn to Sydney service will continue to operate Monday to Friday at the originally scheduled times
The trial coach services for Goulburn to Canberra will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, leaving Goulburn at 9am and returning from Canberra at 1:55pm.
The days of service were chosen as patronage and customer feedback showed they were the most popular days of travel for the community.
